Trishuli River is renowned as Nepal's top whitewater tour, perfect for both beginners and seasoned rafters. It's a fantastic way to immerse yourself in pristine natural beauty, surrounded by scenic valleys, impressive gorges, and unpolluted beaches. Along the way, you'll tackle exciting rapids and enjoy smoother sections, making it a memorable experience for all.

Originating from the Himalayan Lake, Gosainkunda, the Trishuli River gets its name from the legend of Lord Shiva, who created three springs with his trident. These springs feed the river, adding to its mystique and significance.

The best times to embark on a Trishuli River rafting adventure are from February to mid-June and from September to January. Monsoon season, from July to August, sees high water levels and intense rapids, making it challenging for rafting trips.

Rated between class 3+ to 4 in terms of difficulty, Trishuli River rafting is safe if you adhere to the instructions provided by your rafting guide. Children aged 10 and above can participate safely, as long as they wear a life jacket throughout the journey.

You can join our Trishuli River rafting trips either as part of a group or opt for a private excursion. Group trips are available almost daily during the season, while private trips require a minimum group size of 5 people.

Finally, you can either head back to Kathmandu or continue your journey to Pokhara or Chitwan, depending on your travel plans. Please note that the starting and ending points of the rafting trip may change based on circumstances.

Please be aware that children under 10 years old are not recommended for rafting. However, children aged 10 and above are charged the same rate as adults for rafting adventures.
